 Dansko Bella Boot Feb 06, 2010
I really liked the looks of these boots. I did not like the fit. I own a few pairs of Dansko clogs and love them but the boots were stiff and they looked like they were made of plastic. I was very disappointed as I have been looking for brown boots for a LONG time and I thought these boots would be the ones.

I wear Dansko clogs regularly. As the winter time was growing colder here, I decided to invest in some boots that I would have for quite a few years. I needed something that I could stand in for hours and walk anywhere in, yet they still needed to look "cute," professional, and work in a variety of settings. I found the Bella Boot online and never looked back. I've had the boots for about a few weeks now and can't stop wearing them. I am definitely one of those people who will choose to wear the boots and build the outfit around them! Because I'm in an educational leadership position, it is important for me to have shoes that are overall "appropriate" in color, shape, and comfort. These work for me.
Very stiff leather Jan 03, 2010
I have another pair of Dansko boots that I love, love, love. I decided to get a pair in black and didn't think I could go wrong with Dansko. After reading reviews on the stiffness of the leather, I thought I could soften them or work with them, but this leather is so stiff it felt like I was walking in ski boots. I did not want to take the chance of working with the boots and not being able to get them softened enough....they were that stiff. I would not recommend this style to anyone. I have returned them.

Was SO excited when these boots arrived. They looked beautiful, but had so many problems that I had to send them back.
-They were way too tight around the calf. I have average sized calves, but this was ridiculous.
-Also the front part of the boot at the ankle bunches inward and is horribly uncomfortable. I can foresee someone developing significant wear marks here that would not be flattering.
-The sole was not comfortable. I've tried on the new Dansko heels and own approx 6 pair of Dankso shoes and these seem like they were made by a completely different manufacturer. The soles were very stiff without the soft molding of other Dansko shoes.
Overall, NOT comfortable. I went for Clark boots instead and I love them.

The top of the boot looks a little like galoshes. Too stiff to be comfortable.
