 Too stiff around foot. Mar 28, 2010
I loved the look of these online but the area around my foot was too stiff and it made my foot look really wierd. The Geox sole is strange to b/c it has holes to breath but no water gets in -- I was very intrigued but found the leather to be too inflexible and would have taken too long to break in -- I return these shoes.

When I saw these boots online, I had to have them. They are exactly what I spent months looking for: black leather flats, well made, gorgeous, and supposedly waterproof. I read reviews saying they run a full size small, so I ordered a 9.5 rather than my normal 8.5. When I tried them on, they still felt snug, so I ordered a size 10, which was too big.
I decided to keep the smaller size, hoping they would stretch. The boots have become more comfortable as I've worn them in the last two weeks. I have not tried them in the rain yet (afraid I'll destroy them!), so I can't vouch for the waterproof claim. They could use a little bit more arch support, but overall, I'm very satisfied.
