 dries quick, but toe traps sand & rocks Sep 01, 2010
The material doesn't breath and chafes skin (unless you have farmers' feet). It does dry very quick however. The shape is very comfortable. A short walk on the beach will leave you with two sand weights. The closed toes trap sand and rocks. Nothing short of taking them off will get that annoying rock out. The toe protector on the old Toachi was way better. Overall, good for short walks, terrible for dry sandy beaches.

wow ...sooo comforatable.. I just got them.. they are true to fit..have great heal support,, look nice enough to wear with shorts or slacks on a causal summer day... I'm living in the south sooo that means all year round...anyway ... I'm going to buy a 2nd pair to hve and hand .. I'm the kind of person whodislikes shopping so when i find a good buy ie jeans, shirt.. i like I will buy 2 ...

I purchased these shoes for long walks and attending the water park at Busch Gardens. The first time that I wore these shoes, I got a blister on my outside ankle. I continued to wear them despite the blister for the next week. I have since broken in the shoes. They are great. They are very comfortable. My feet do not sweat. The sole gets a little slick when wet, but dries quickly. These shoes have replaced my sneakers for the summer. The design takes a little getting used to, but I would definitely recommend. BE SURE TO BUY A HALF SIZE BIGGER THAN WHAT YOU NORMALLY WEAR, AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY.
