ALMOST PERFECT. STILL AN AWESOME LOOKING SHOE! Feb 24, 2010
I would of given these a five star but despite what everyone is saying they are not comfortable, they are just as comfortable as most really nice dress shoes, which is not very. For a semi-dress shoe the most comfortable I have every owned are the Merrell World Forums, which are discontinued but at this time can still be ordered on Amazon. I would still highly recommend these as I get compliments all the time and have found most of my associates payed between $150 and $250 for them and I got them for $90 here on sale. I don't know what the one review was talking about in regards to shipping, no overcharges that I could tell. BUYERS NOTE: I bought one size larger and one size wider than I measure out to be. I would suggest two sizes wider for a better comfort fit. It does take about a week or two for these to stretch out and fit normally.

Impressive quality workmanship. Full leather sole is stiff and requires a break in period to get that "old shoe" feel. Fully lined.

After the initial break in period (2-3 weeks) they are very comfortable. They look nice, with a good glossy shine. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a dress shoe for work or play.

After wearing these shoes once to the office they already felt broken in. I went on a two mile walk the other day in these shoes and my feet never felt tired or pinched in any way. None of my rubber soled dress shoes are so comfortable. How does Johnston & Murphy make leather soled shoes so comfortable to walk in? These are my 2nd favorite pair of shoes (behind my 3-yr-old pair).

I bought these shoes before and they served me well for over a year. They fit well and needs very little break in. Very comfortable.
