I WAS concerned about size, but I got a 10 from my normal 9.FEATHERWEIGHT! Amazing comfort and I have had them for a few days but I am liking!!!

Great Outdoor running shoes... lace gets untied a lot Mar 22, 2010
I am using it for 3 days now. The first day I ran with it for a few miles in a state park. They are pretty good in giving support on rough surfaces.
I like its tough sturdy look.
Only problem I am facing is the lace gets unties often. May be because it is new and hard. I will be better as time goes by.

For some reason the 8.5 size in New Balance shoes are smaller than the standard 8.5 size shoes. I lined up a NB with one of my regular runners and it looked OK outside, but it's a tight fit. I think NB shoes size are based on the outside measurement instead of the inside fit. According to some of the other reviews the NB does have a fit problem. This company's been around for a long time I surprised they have not addressed this problem.
+ I just used a shoe stretcher on it and it fits perfectly now. I think the shoes may have shrunk during shipping from China.

This shoe is perfect for my running needs. I run at least every other day each week on a variety of surfaces from smoothly paved sidewalks to unimproved mountain trails. This shoe has the perfect balance of comfort and durability without the stiffness. Great value for the price!
