great comfort and support Dec 02, 2008
This is the second pair of this style I have owned. I bought the first pair on a trip several years ago; and it took forever to break them in. This pair was comfortable from the first wearing.

I bought a pair of the Seawalker's 8 years ago and wore them almost daily for about four years, and then occasionally for the remainder. One day I noticed the soles started to fall apart, and I hated to throw them away, since the uppers were still in good condition. These are great shoes, very comfortable and very well made. ECCO makes some of the best shoes I've ever owned.

bought these shoes because they were on special @ 55.00 and free shipping.
other colors which I have were over 150.00. Not sure I'll wear them other than summer but they are a great value.

These were the first "grown up" shoes I bought. That was seven years ago! They're still comfortable and looking good enough for business casual. Very comfortable for daily wear, and pretty good for walking and even light hiking. If these ever wear out, my next pair will definately be Ecco and probably the same style.

WARNING! If you like a comfortable shoe, wearing the ECCO Seawalker will spoil you for life. No other brand of shoe will ever feel comfortable on your feet again! The ECCO Seawalkers lasts twice as long as most shoes also. They provide wonderful support all day. From experience, if found that the regular leather Seawalker held up much better appearance wise than the Nubuck leather.
I don't even bother to untie them. I just pull them on and off. I am on my third pair. What goes out for me, because of habit I assume, is the sewn heavy thread on the front of my right shoe, but that usually takes me a year or more of constant wear and a shoe shop can repair it.
Worth every penny you pay. After these, nothing else will do.
