New Balance MR1225 Jul 23, 2010 Shoes were deliverd on time fit great and I was very happy with the shoes.I will buy these again
2nd Pair Owned Jun 28, 2010 I just recently purchased a second pair of the NB1225. I put in about 100 miles per month on my last pair and on the advice of my foot doctor, needed to change them out every 500 miles or 5 months, which ever came first. Truely happy with the NB1225, that's why I went back with the same shoe.

Best support, light weight for happy feet! May 28, 2010 Purchased this style to replace NB 804 from local store, in 2000. Great protection from ankle injury if one of those unexpected uneven surface's is not noticed.
The price is affordable, and to cushion damaged feet that running while carrying heavy construction materials caused burning pain in both heels, due to sprains from 1991 job while wearing a different brand running shoe.
New Balance is near perfect fit for feet that stomped concrete for too many years.
Confident that MR1225 tread will give needed traction on wet surface, and no pressure on heels and ball of feet from design of tread.
I did not have to purchase inserts for improved fit. Will compare fit after months or possibly years of limited walking produce need for inserts. Limited minutes standing and walking for this retired door to door salesman, means about ten years of useful shoe life.

Great Shoe for big guys May 18, 2010 Great shoe for running. I'm in the military so I'm a decent runner but over long distances i would get stiff and sore. This shoe completely removed my shin splints and made running a lot more comfortable. HOWEVER!!! I realized soon after buying these things they are exactly that... RUNNING shoes. If you go on short hikes, mow the grass, sports, etc, then you need to get a different set of shoes. The shoes have good support and great cushioning, but you can definitely feel that they are less stiff and rigid as compared to other walking/trail shoes you may be used to. I've been running/walking in cross trainers and believe me, you will feel the diffference once you step off the track/pavement wearing these. My thoughtful, former cross country running wife pointed this out to me after the fact... go figure. So i'm telling you... these are awesome RUNNING shoes for big guys, but for everything else, get a pair off all purpose sneakers.

Great stability shoes!!!! May 03, 2010 Excellent for people with mild to over pronator feet like myself. I had the 1224 and were great too! but somewhat better the 1225, more cushioning and support! The only negative on these shoes: they wear quite fast (I run 40KM or 25Miles/week)... but the feeling while you run with these shoes doesn't have a match (like walking on pillows)!!! I really recommend them!! better if you use them with the NB support insoles (sold separately).
