 Great boot -- just wish I didn't have such wide feet! 8) Dec 14, 2008
Frye are primo boots and they'll last a lifetime. I bought this style in black and brown but had to send them both back. It's not the fault of the boot, which is an amazing piece of footwear; it's just that my feet are too wide! So, until Frye makes a wide-sized boot it looks like I'm limited to the $15 no-name faux leather variety. BooHoo for me but WooHoo for you if you've got normal feet -- these boots rock!

of course! definitely order them a half size smaller then your regular shoe size, though. they make everything look good and get a lot of compliments.

I have the worst time finding shoes I won't trip over, since to get them wide enough for my feet they end up too long. I also have pretty strong calf muscles from years of dancing, running, and cycling. These boots fit my feet without sqeezing them uncomfortable, and they hit at the perfect place a few inches above my ankle, where they leave quite a bit of room between my calf and the boot. I'm thrilled to finally have a boot that's the quality of Frye that fits and I know will last for a good long time.

I bought these in tan and I love them. They are stylish and very comfortable. Don't forget that they run big. I ordered a half size smaller.

This is a novel experience! I ordered a pair of Frye boots that I had saved up for. To my shock, they mailed me two boots of different SIZES, with neither one the actual size that I ordered. Further, there was no packing slip in the box, so that it's difficult to know how or where to return the boots.
I'm still waiting to hear from the vender, after sending an email via Amazon. One of the disadvantages of this system is that with Amazon as the intermediary, it's hard to resolve problems with the actual seller. I would have to recommend against using Amazon for purchases at this point. I've really never had a retail experience this bad.
