Fabulous boots of top quality. Service and delivery were also excellent. Will be ordering my authentic footwear from NY again! A happy UK customer.

I had originally bought two styles of the Frye Harness Boots (Frye Harness12R in Tan size 6 and Frye Belted Harness in Chestnut size 5.5).
Personally, I LOVED the look of the Harness12R more so than the Belted Harness. I think it's a touch more feminine in my opinion and the Tan color happens to be a lovely soft brown. The Harness 12R also has more of a cowgirl style heel - which is super cute :-)!. Unfortunately... although I normally wear a size 6, the Harness12R was nearly a full size too large for me. I've read that these boots typically run a half size larger, but not even a good thick sock could help me. In the end, I had to return these since they were not available in a smaller size (and there ain't nothing sexy about blistered tootsies).
That said, the Belted Harness is the next best thing! The plus side is that the Chestnut color is far more versatile than the Tan, pairing well with blues, blacks and browns. I'm wearing them with a black wool dress in my profile picture right now! The heel isn't cowgirl like in the regular harness boots, they're more like a block heel - but height wise, these two boots are comparable. The leather scratches easily, but the scuff marks only work to lend these boots some character. 5.5 fits me fine from heel to toe (in fact, I couldn't go smaller if I wanted too), but I still have a good deal of slip in the heel. Nothing bothersome. I am so in love with these boots :)! I receive many compliments on them as well. I will definately go with Frye again in the future. QUALITY BOOTS!
FYI - although you won't really find any discounts on Zappos.com, I highly recommend using them if you're looking to buy these boots online and aren't certain of your size. Unless you're uber-desperate, don't pay for the expedited shipping, go with free shipping if it's an option. Most of the time they'll upgrade you the very next day to overnight shipping 'free of charge' anyways (at least that's been my experience thus far).

I ordered these Frye boots and couldn't wait to get them. After receiving them, unfortunately had to return them because they we too big. The people at Shoemania were very helpful, no hassles. The only downside to the whole transaction is that they do not pay for shipping on any returns. All and all an uncomplicated transaction.
